Terms and Conditions

Using Bond County Recent Arrests means accepting these terms. If any condition is unacceptable, do not use the site.

This is a private site with no government affiliation, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides an FCRA-covered service.

Nature of the Service

Bond County Recent Arrests is privately owned and has no connection to Bond County, the sheriff, Bond County Jail, police, courts, IDOC, or another government office. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file documents. It points readers toward public arrest, jail, court, state, and federal resources and may connect visitors with independent search providers. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Acceptable Use

Access is allowed only for lawful, respectful purposes.

  • Do not violate a law or another person’s rights.
  • Do not stalk, threaten, harass, or harm anyone.
  • Do not use content for credit, employment, housing, lending, tenant, or insurance decisions.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access or run automated scrapers.
  • Do not disrupt the site or impair another visitor’s access.

FCRA Restriction

The site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Neither site content nor a linked tool may be used for a decision regulated by the FCRA, including employment, credit, insurance, or tenant screening.

Outside Services and Links

Third-party searches and outbound links are offered for convenience. They are not endorsements. Outside providers control their results, prices, terms, privacy practices, content, and availability.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranty is made about accuracy, completeness, fitness, availability, or results. Government sources can change without notice, and custody data can lag.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent Illinois law permits, the owners and operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

Your Responsibility to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the owners and operators harmless from claims, costs, losses, and reasonable legal fees caused by your misuse, breach of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

Intellectual Property

Original text, branding, layout, and other site-created material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government records and linked materials remain subject to their own ownership and use rules. No right to copy site-created work is granted except for ordinary personal browsing.

Changes and Access

These terms may change, with the revised version posted here. Access may be limited or revoked for misuse or for operational reasons. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.

Illinois Law and Severability

Illinois law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. Failure to enforce a term once does not waive it.
